Rachel E. Harrison, MD, attended the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and received his medical degree in 2009. Then, he served his internship (2009-2010), residency (2010-2014), and fellowship (2014-2016) at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Hospital. In addition, Dr. Harrison received board certification in cardiothoracic surgery from the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. Dr. Harrison is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the Southern Thoracic Surgical Association, the Women in Thoracic Surgery, the Texas Medical Association, and the American College of Surgeons. Prior to medical school, she acquired a BS degree from Vanderbilt University in 2005.
